Outstanding chips - just perfection! Delicious! We'll go back and try the F&C as that looked excellent too. Indoor and outdoor basic seating. Dog friendly and right on the beach. What's not to like!

Best chips in Wales. I did nor see the Gavin and Stacey cast at all. Staff were amazing working hard in a proper busy kitchen 👌 There were so many customers because your food is incredible. Well done Team 👏 ✔️ 👍 👌 😀 🙌

Could not walk past and not buy, lovely chippy smells, we had a fish and chips which we shared as it was quite large, and cooked fresh. Staff very chatty and friendly and place looked lovely and clean, beautiful views while you eat.

Went there yesterday for 2 x regular box of chips and was not disappointed! Fond memories of Boofy’s when I was a little kid at the beach and it’s even better now than I remember. Highly recommend!

A review worth sharing, yesterday (Summer bank holiday) I must say the care and quality of food throughout the crowds myself (gluten free) was very pleased to see the offer of GF and to be able to eat, enjoy with family was very pleasing. Quality of GF I must say BEST FISH AND CHIPS I have had period! Shame it’s a 2 hour journey haha. Hearing locals in cue saying they’ve tried all in Barry and this was the ONE. Was reassuring, will be back!

The best fish and chips in the area! The fish is made to order (they ask the queue to get them going before you even order to minimise your wait) and is absolutely fantastic. Crisp batter but not overdone, the fish is fresh and delicious. And the chips, oh my god, they are great! Maybe it's something about the sea air and being literal metres from the beach, but they are some of the best chipshop chips I have had in a long time! Gravy? Curry sauce? Peas? Boofy's have got you covered. Well worth it, even if there's a queue (it moves quickly!). Would recommend!
